ANNUAL DAY

MTRS celebrated their Annual Day Function with great enthusiasm and zeal. The entire school participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event.

HOPE: THE HEART OF CHRISTMAS

The Christmas programme of the school with Hope as the theme was held on 7th of December, 2018 at 2.30pm in the school auditorium. Principal Mr.Reji Mathew welcomed the gathering.  Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos, Episcopa of Kottarakara – Punalur diocese graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. He emphasised on the importance of sharing and caring during this Christmas season. There were melodious carols presented by choir groups of various sections. A group of girls dressed up beautifully presented mind blowing choreography. A live musical nativity Reliving the first Christmas won a lot of applauses. The school organised a Deck the tree contest with the theme of Hope challenging the children to use eco-friendly adornments. Four Christmas trees were donated to the school by the ISC 2020 batch from the profit they got by conducting the food stall during the annual athletic meet.  Red and Green houses secured first and second places.

CHILDREN'S DAY 2018

 A special assembly was conducted by the teachers on 14th of November 2018.            Mrs. Shalat Biji Mathew led the gathering in prayer; Mrs.Sophy Thomas Kovoor read from the Scriptures;  Mrs.Jean Ann Alex gave the scriptural message; Mr.Sajai John spoke on the occasion; Mrs.Roshin John recited a poem with great zeal and enthusiasm and group songs were sung by the teachers. A kitchen Orchestra by the teachers filled the auditorium with cheers. A movie based on the students’ activities was visualized by Mrs.Cynthia Marina Varghese.  Jeswin T Renjith of std.V.A addressed the students as Chachaji and reminded the students about the love of Jawaharlal Nehru towards children. The teachers took perfect control of the stage and won the hearts of the students with their scintillating, enthusiastic and energetic performance.
